Meet Charlie & Henry
Henry
Teddy Bear Mix · Shih Tzu × Bichon Frise
Our wonderfully fluffy Teddy Bear mix. Henry reminds us that even small dogs come in different sizes, shapes, and personalities.
Different sizes, different needs, and plenty of opinions! Charlie and Henry are the reason we look beyond pretty packaging and pay attention to comfort, fit, quality, and the small details that matter.
Thoughtful choices, happier little dogs.
With so many products promising to be the best, finding the right one can feel overwhelming. We created Small Dog Standard to make those decisions easier.
We focus on practical essentials, everyday comforts, grooming, travel, and products that genuinely improve life with small dogs.
Our philosophy is simple: buy fewer things, choose them well, and enjoy life with your dog.
Honest research. Real experience.
We consider comfort, safety, quality, ease of use, and value. Some recommendations come from products we've personally used with Charlie and Henry; others are based on careful research and manufacturer information.
We always aim to distinguish firsthand experience from researched recommendations. We don't claim to have tested products we haven't used.
Trust comes first.
